Floortex 3115226EV area rug 48 x 60 in

Anti-static floor protection for carpeted

The Floortex 3115226EV is a translucent PVC chair mat sized at 48 by 60 inches with a thickness of .11 inches. It is designed for carpets up to 3/8 inch thick and uses an anti-static vinyl formulation that dissipates electrostatic charge to protect sensitive electronic equipment. The surface resistance falls in the range of 108 ohm for reliable ESD performance. The mat contains up to 20 percent recycled material and is free of DIDP phthalates, lead, cadmium, tin and BPA.

Suited for home offices

This mat suits users who roll a caster chair on carpet and want to shield computers from static build-up and dust attraction. It also appeals to buyers who prefer flooring products manufactured with 50 percent renewable energy and 100 percent recyclable content. Buyers with hard floors, thick pile carpets exceeding 3/8 inch, or those needing a studded gripper backing for carpet anchorage should look elsewhere.

Rectangular layout frees desk space

The straight-edged 48 by 60 inch rectangle fits under a standard desk and extends behind the chair to cover the full range of motion. Its smooth anti-static surface lets casters glide easily, reducing leg fatigue while keeping the area clear for power strips and cables. The .1094 inch profile sits low enough to avoid a tripping lip at the edge of the mat. No adhesives or fasteners are required for installation.
