Floortex Advantagemat Plus for Hard Floors

This clear APET chair mat measures 36" by 48" with a 20" by 10" lip for desk clearance. It is designed for office workers who use caster-based chairs on hard flooring and want to reduce lower back and leg fatigue. The rigid surface allows smooth rolling while protecting the floor underneath.

Lipped Design and Eco Credentials

The rectangular lip extends under the desk to protect a larger area without needing a separate mat. GreenGuard Gold certification confirms low chemical emissions, and the material contains up to 25% recycled content. It is phthalate, BPA and vinyl free, making it suitable for allergy sufferers and fully recyclable at end of life.

APET Material Limits

The 0.06" thickness provides a firm glide but offers minimal cushioning for users who prefer a softer feel. A manufacturing tolerance of plus or minus 5% means actual dimensions can vary slightly from the nominal size. The smooth backing is intended only for hard floors and will not grip carpet.

Questions about this item

Will the APET material need any treatment or replacement to stay rigid under daily rolling?

The high-impact APET is guaranteed not to chip, crack, break or shatter under normal use, so no periodic treatment or replacement is required.

At what point does the 0.06-inch thickness stop protecting a hard floor from caster indentation?

The rigid APET surface distributes caster load across the 36-by-48-inch area, preventing indentation on hard floors for the duration of the five-year limited warranty.

Does the mat emit any odour or heat when a chair rolls on it all day in a heated room?

The emission-free, phthalate- and BPA-free APET is GreenGuard Gold certified and compatible with under-floor heating, so it adds no odour or noticeable heat during continuous use.
