Ultrasonic Side-Mount Switch

The Flowline AU13-1120 is an ultrasonic point-level sensor with an integrated controller designed for horizontal side mounting on tanks or vessels. It detects the presence or absence of corrosive liquids using a polypropylene body rated NEMA 4 for wash-down environments.

150 psi Pressure and 176 °F Media Limits

The switch handles operating pressures up to 150 psi and media temperatures up to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. Its 3/4 inch NPT connection and polypropylene construction restrict use to compatible corrosive liquids within these specific pressure and thermal boundaries.

Single Analog and Digital Outputs

One analog and one digital output provide discrete or continuous level indication for a single set point. The device does not support multi-point profiling or extended measuring ranges, so applications requiring multiple alarms or continuous volume tracking need additional sensors.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the AU13-1120 or another version for corrosive liquids?

This model uses a polypropylene body rated NEMA 4 and NPT connection, designed for corrosive liquid media at up to 150 psi and 176°F.

What does the ±1 mm accuracy mean once the switch is installed horizontally in a tank?

The ultrasonic sensor provides point-level detection within ±1 mm repeatability when mounted horizontally on a 3/4 in NPT fitting.

How does the NPT connection and NEMA 4 rating cap the practical installation limits?

The 3/4 in NPT thread limits maximum pressure to 150 psi, while the NEMA 4 enclosure protects against wash-down and dust in horizontal mounting.
