Complete Turntable System

The Fluance RT83WPAI81B bundles a reference turntable, PA10 phono preamp and Ai81 powered floorstanding speakers in one package. An Ortofon 2M Red cartridge comes factory-fitted for immediate vinyl playback. The system delivers 150W of Class D amplification in a Natural Walnut finish.

Sustained Listening Performance

Servo-controlled belt drive keeps rotational speed accurate across full album sides without drift. High-mass MDF plinth and metal platter combine with three-point isolation feet to suppress resonance during extended sessions. The PA10 preamp maintains RIAA-equalised output consistently from first track to last.

Thermal and Acoustic Behaviour

Powered tower speakers handle continuous output without external amp heat buildup in the listening position. Class D topology limits power draw relative to traditional designs while driving the neodymium drivers. Vibration isolation feet prevent mechanical hum from transferring into the cabinet at typical volumes.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 150W Class D amplifier generate during extended listening sessions?

The Class D design runs efficiently, so the Ai81 towers stay cool to the touch and the internal fan remains inaudible at normal room volumes even after hours of playback.

What cables or accessories must I already own to connect the turntable to the powered speakers?

The system ships with the PA10 phono preamp and all necessary interconnects, so no extra cables are required for the vinyl path; only a Bluetooth source is needed for wireless streaming.

Will the Ortofon 2M Red cartridge track properly on older records with wider groove modulation?

Yes, the elliptical stylus and S-type tonearm maintain high channel separation and low distortion, tracing demanding vintage pressings without excessive wear.
