A complete vinyl system pairing a high-fidelity turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge, RIAA-equalised phono preamp and 90 W powered bookshelf speakers
The Fluance RT85 package combines a high-fidelity turntable with a PA10 phono preamp and Ai41 powered bookshelf speakers. It arrives with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge already fitted. The bundle is designed for listeners who want a single-box solution for vinyl playback and streaming. Buyers who need separate component upgrades or a different cartridge profile should look elsewhere.
The turntable uses a high-mass MDF wood plinth, an acrylic platter and three-point vibration isolation feet to suppress unwanted resonance. A servo-controlled belt-drive motor maintains accurate rotational speed. The Ai41 speakers integrate a 90W Class D amplifier driving silk-dome tweeters and woven glass-fibre drivers. No figures for noise level or power consumption are supplied.
The RIAA-equalised PA10 preamp converts the phono signal to line level with high-accuracy frequency response for faithful reproduction. Bluetooth connectivity allows wireless streaming alongside vinyl playback. The system delivers room-filling stereo sound suited to extended sessions. No specifications for thermal behaviour or long-term drift are provided.

Connect the turntable RCA cables to the PA10 phono inputs, then run RCA cables from the PA10 outputs to the Ai41 line inputs. The step often missed is ensuring the PA10 is powered on and the Ai41 input selector is set to the correct analog source.
The elliptical stylus is the wear item; it can be replaced separately by sliding the stylus assembly out of the cartridge body and clicking a new Ortofon 2M Blue stylus in place.
The 90W Class D amplifier in the Ai41 speakers will reach thermal protection before any other component if driven continuously at maximum output.
