Reference Turntable System

The Fluance RT85N pairs an acrylic platter with a Nagaoka MP-110 cartridge for pure analog playback. Two Ri91 powered floorstanding speakers and a PA10 preamp complete the chain from stylus tip to room-filling sound.

150W Active Towers With AMT Tweeters

Each Ri91 speaker houses a 150W amplifier driving dual 6.5-inch woven glass fiber drivers and advanced AMT tweeters. The 2.5-way design delivers dynamic midrange, deep bass and wide off-axis dispersion without external amplification.

Nagaoka MP-110 Elliptical Cartridge

The factory-fitted Nagaoka MP-110 uses a superfine polished elliptical diamond for high channel separation and low distortion. It extracts detailed, warm vinyl reproduction that cheaper cartridges cannot match.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Nagaoka MP-110 cartridge on the RT85N turntable?

Mount the cartridge to the supplied headshell using the included hardware, then use the protractor to align the stylus before setting tracking force and anti-skate.

What maintenance will the Nagaoka MP-110 cartridge need over time?

Clean the stylus with a brush before each session and replace the cartridge when the elliptical diamond shows wear, typically after several hundred hours of play.

What is the first limit I will hit when listening at high volume for long periods?

The Ri91 speakers' 150W amplifier will reach its thermal limit before the drivers do, causing protection to engage.
