Turntable system for vinyl enthusiasts

The Fluance RT87 turntable ships with a PA10 phono preamp and Ai41 powered bookshelf speakers, creating a complete analog chain in one box. The dual-plinth design isolates the motor from the tonearm to reduce structural vibration. This system suits listeners who want a ready-to-play high-fidelity vinyl setup without assembling separate components.

Sustained playback stability

The high-mass dual-plinth architecture decouples the motor on the lower plinth from the tonearm on the upper plinth using isolators. This separation minimizes mechanical noise transfer during extended listening sessions. The integrated 90W amplifier in the active speakers maintains clean, room-filling stereo output without compression over long periods.

Setup requirements to verify

You need adequate shelf space for a turntable weighing 36.96 lbs plus two bookshelf speakers. A mains outlet is required for the powered speakers and preamp. The package includes the necessary interconnects, but confirm your furniture can support the combined weight and dimensions before ordering.

Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise does the 90 W integrated amplifier in the Ai41 speakers produce during all-day listening?

The Ai41 speakers contain a built-in 90 W amplifier that runs silently with no fan; only mild warmth is felt on the rear panel after extended use.

Which cables or connectors must I already own to link the RT87 turntable, PA10 preamp and Ai41 speakers together?

The turntable includes a captive RCA cable with ground wire; the PA10 preamp adds a second RCA pair to reach the Ai41 speaker inputs — no extra cables are required.

Will the RT87's dual-plinth isolation still protect tracking if I keep the turntable on an older shelf that vibrates slightly?

Yes — the motor sits on the lower plinth while the tonearm mounts on the upper plinth, separated by isolators, so shelf vibration is absorbed before it reaches the stylus.
