Questions about this item

What cables and power outlets are needed to connect the RT87 turntable, PA10 preamp and Ai41 speakers together?

The turntable plugs into the PA10 phono input, the PA10 line output connects to the Ai41 analogue input, and each unit requires a mains socket for its own power supply.

Can I keep my existing passive speakers and use only the RT87 and PA10?

No, the PA10 provides line-level output only; the Ai41 powered speakers contain the 90W integrated amplifier needed to drive sound.

How do I verify the turntable motor is running at the correct speed after setup?

Use the speed markings on the platter edge under a mains-frequency light; stationary bars indicate accurate rotation.
