Fluke 810S VibeSensor Ceramic Stainless Steel
The Fluke 810S VibeSensor is a vibration sensor designed for use with the Fluke 810 vibration tester. It targets maintenance technicians and reliability engineers who need to capture machinery vibration data for diagnostic analysis. The sensor connects to the tester to measure acceleration across three axes during routine condition monitoring or troubleshooting tasks.
Acceleration range 0 to 80 g
The single specification that determines suitability is the acceleration measurement range of 0 g minimum to 80 g maximum. This range defines the vibration amplitudes the sensor can accurately detect on the X, Y and Z axes. If the equipment under test generates vibration levels outside this window, the sensor will not provide valid data for the Fluke 810 analyser.
Includes Warning Sheet only
The bundled accessory is a Warning Sheet that provides safety and installation guidance for the sensor. No mounting hardware, cables, calibration certificates or software licences are supplied with this item. Users must source appropriate mounting studs or adhesives separately and ensure they have the compatible Fluke 810 tester to read the sensor output.

Questions about this item
What does the 80 g maximum acceleration mean for real-world vibration monitoring?
The sensor can measure shocks and continuous vibration up to 80 g, so it captures both routine machine vibration and sudden impact events without saturating.
How does the 5,000 Hz frequency ceiling on the X and Y axes affect the data I collect?
Vibration components above 5,000 Hz on those axes are attenuated, so the sensor reliably reports content within the stated bandwidth but rolls off beyond it.
What mounting considerations come from the PZT ceramic and stainless-steel construction?
The ceramic sensing element and stainless-steel housing are rigid and corrosion-resistant, so the sensor can be stud-mounted or magnetically attached to clean, flat metal surfaces without special isolation.
