Lift Top Coffee Table

The FM FURNITURE Georgetown table adds a lifting top that reveals a concealed compartment and a side drawer for files or accessories. It is finished in Carbon Onix on particleboard and requires assembly at home. The piece suits living rooms that need flexible surface height for work or dining.

Storage Capacity and Limits

The hidden compartment under the lift top holds everyday items such as remotes, magazines or laptops, while the drawer keeps smaller essentials organised. The particleboard construction supports typical decor and light electronics but is not rated for heavy loads or standing weight.

Build Integration Needs

The table arrives flat-packed and needs basic tools and time for assembly before use. At 54.8 weight units it can be moved by two people, and its 39.7 by 25.24 footprint fits standard seating areas without demanding extra clearance.

Questions about this item

Will the 39.7 inch wide top and 17.9 inch working height clear the arms of my existing sofa?

The table is 39.7 inches wide and lifts to a 17.9 inch height; measure your sofa arm clearance against those dimensions to confirm fit.

How can I verify the lift mechanism operates smoothly once assembled?

Raise the top fully — it should lock securely at 17.9 inches without wobble — then lower it gently to confirm the hinge action is even and quiet.

Does the box include the drawer hardware and all fixings, or must I buy screws separately?

The package supplies the particle-board panels, lift-top mechanism, drawer box, slides, handles and all required fixings; no extra fasteners are needed.
