Digital strategy game for PC

Othercide is a downloadable strategy game published by Focus Home Interactive and developed by Lightbulb Crew. You receive an online code that activates on Steam for PC. The game launched on 27 July 2020 and requires a Steam account to install and play.

Steam DRM and regional limits

The code uses Steam DRM, so the title is tied to your Steam library after activation. Supply specifications list a set of blocked countries including RU, CN, IR and others; buyers in those regions will not be able to redeem the code.

Simple activation with account requirement

Installation starts once the code is entered in the Steam client on a 64-bit Windows 7, 8 or 10 system. A Steam account is mandatory, and the minimum hardware calls for a Phenom 9950 or Core2 Quad Q6600 processor with 4 GB of memory. Users without a Steam account or on unsupported operating systems cannot proceed.

Questions about this item

Will the Steam activation code for Othercide 58065 still be redeemable years from now?

The Steam platform handles code redemption; once activated, the game remains in your library indefinitely.

What hardware limit appears first during long strategy sessions with the Dynamic Timeline System?

The minimum 4 GB RAM and older GPUs like the AMD Phenom 9950 or Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 will constrain performance before other components.

How much heat or fan noise does the PC generate when running Othercide all day?

The game runs on modest minimum specs, so sustained loads stay light and typical office-class cooling stays quiet.
