Canada Goose Hand Puppet

The Folkmanis Canada Goose hand puppet measures fifteen inches and lets a single hand animate the head and wings. It is built for stage work, classroom storytelling, daycare activities and pretend play at home. The plush construction uses high-quality materials shaped with realistic detailing. The glove-style fit slips comfortably over the hand for immediate control.

Thermals Noise Power

The puppet contains no electronics, motors or batteries, so it produces no heat, no fan noise and draws no power during use. It remains at room temperature regardless of how long a performance lasts. There are no moving mechanical parts that could wear out or generate sound. Care consists of surface cleaning when needed.

Hand Control Realism

Direct hand manipulation of the head and wings creates expressive movement without rods, strings or separate controllers. The fifteen-by-fifteen-by-ten-inch body provides enough volume for visible wing gestures while staying light enough for extended sessions. Realistic feather patterning and colouring support audience engagement from a distance. No additional accessories or software are required or included.

Questions about this item

How do I put my hand inside the 15-inch Canada Goose puppet so the head and wings move correctly?

Slip your hand up through the bottom opening; your fingers fit into the head while your thumb and remaining fingers reach into each wing pocket to animate both wings together.

What cleaning method keeps the plush fabric looking realistic after months of classroom use?

Surface-wash only with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or submersion so the detailed feather texture and internal structure stay intact.

Will the 10-inch height dimension limit the puppet's visibility on a standard preschool stage?

At 10 inches tall the goose sits well above a child's hand, making it clearly visible to an audience seated a few metres away during circle time or performances.
