Folkmanis Puppets Chipmunk Hand Puppet 11 inches

What this puppet is

This Folkmanis Chipmunk hand puppet is a plush toy designed for interactive play. It suits educators, storytellers, daycare providers and collectors who want a realistic woodland character. The puppet slips over the hand so the wearer can animate the mouth and facial expressions during performances or lessons.

Practical limits of hand puppetry

The puppet measures 11 x 6 x 8 inches and fits a single hand, so only one character can be operated at a time by one person. It requires the user’s hand to remain inside for animation, which limits simultaneous use of both hands for props or other tasks. The plush construction is made for indoor environments such as classrooms, stages or home play areas.

The detail that decides fit

The 11 inch length determines whether the puppet covers an adult hand comfortably or feels large on a small child’s hand. Buyers who need a smaller figure for very young children or a larger stage puppet should look elsewhere. This size targets general-purpose storytelling and pretend play rather than specialised professional theatre requirements.
