Griffin Hand Puppet 22 Inches

The Folkmanis Griffin hand puppet measures 22 inches tall and slips over the hand for direct control of the mouth and expressions. It is designed for storytellers, teachers, daycare providers, and collectors who want a mythical character for interactive play.

Stage and Classroom Durability

The plush construction withstands repeated performances in puppet theater, classroom storytelling, and daily pretend play without losing shape. Hand-operated articulation remains consistent through extended sessions of role-playing, presentations, and party entertainment.

22 Inch Height Fit

At 21 x 13 x 22 inches the puppet fits an adult hand for full expressive movement. Buyers needing a smaller puppet for very young children or a larger figure for stage visibility beyond this scale will need a different size.

Questions about this item

Will the Griffin puppet get hot or make noise if I wear it on my hand all day?

No — it is a plush hand puppet with no electronics, batteries or moving parts, so it produces no heat and no sound on its own.

Do I need any extra equipment, such as rods, stands or batteries, to make the Griffin puppet work?

No additional equipment is required; your hand fits inside the 21 x 13 x 22 inch body to operate the mouth and expressions directly.

Can I use this 22-inch Griffin alongside smaller Folkmanis puppets I already own without scale problems?

At 22 inches tall it is larger than many Folkmanis hand puppets, so it will dominate a shared scene unless you stage it as the featured character.
