Engaging Harp Seal Pup Puppet

This Folkmanis hand puppet brings a realistic harp seal pup to life for interactive play. Your hands control the mouth and expressions to create engaging antics during storytelling or role-playing. It suits teachers, caregivers, and children who want a lifelike sealife character for imaginative scenarios. The plush construction supports creative play in many settings.

Suits Storytelling And Teaching Needs

This puppet works well for stage shows, classroom lessons, daycare activities, and pretend play at home. Collectors and gift-givers will appreciate the realistic details and quality materials. It is not designed for buyers who need a full-body costume or a marionette that requires string manipulation. Rough outdoor use or machine washing may damage the plush fabric.

Comfortable Hand Fit With Room To Move

The puppet slips over the hand and measures 19 x 12 x 6 inches, giving ample space for an adult or child to animate the head freely. This size handles expressive mouth movements and emotional gestures during performances. Very large hands may find the interior snug, limiting fine finger control. The dimensions also restrict use to single-hand operation only.

Questions about this item

Do I need a hand small enough to fit inside a 19 x 12 x 6 inch cavity?

The puppet slips over the hand and measures 19 x 12 x 6 inches, so an average adult or child hand fits comfortably inside the plush body.

Can this seal pup share the stage with older Folkmanis puppets?

Yes, it works alongside any hand puppet; the high-quality plush construction matches the scale and durability of other Folkmanis characters for joint storytelling.

How do I know the mouth animation is working correctly?

When your hand moves inside the puppet, the lower jaw opens and closes smoothly, letting the seal pup "speak" or change expression in real time.
