Mini Toad Finger Puppet

The Folkmanis Mini Toad Finger Puppet is a plush toy designed for interactive play on a single finger. It suits educators, parents and performers who need a small, expressive character for storytelling, classroom activities or pretend scenarios. The compact size makes it practical for travel or desk use.

Replaces basic plush toys

This puppet upgrades simple stuffed animals by adding articulated movement through finger control. The jump is worth it when a user wants a creature that can gesture, blink or hop during a narrative rather than sit passively on a shelf. It serves settings where a single animated figure drives engagement better than a static toy.

Slips on in seconds

Installation is limited to sliding the puppet onto any adult or child finger; no straps, batteries or assembly are required. What usually goes wrong is choosing a finger that is too thick or too thin, which can make the fit loose or tight and reduce the range of motion during play.

Questions about this item

How much finger space does the 6 x 6 x 3 inch Mini Toad puppet need?

The body cavity slips over a single fingertip; the 6-inch length and 3-inch height leave room for most adult and child fingers without stretching the plush.

What is the correct way to put the puppet on so the mouth moves naturally?

Insert your finger straight into the base until the toad's head rests on your fingertip, then curl the finger slightly — forcing the puppet on sideways twists the internal seam and limits mouth action.

How should the high-quality plush be cleaned after frequent handling?

Spot-clean the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry; the materials are designed for easy care and years of play without machine washing.
