Folkmanis Puppets San Francisco Garter Snake Finger Puppet 19

Engaging Finger Puppet

The Folkmanis San Francisco Garter Snake Finger Puppet is a plush toy designed for interactive play. It suits educators, parents, and performers who want a realistic reptile character for storytelling or teaching sessions. The detailed construction supports expressive movement during puppet theater, daycare activities, or imaginative games at home. Collectors of quality plush animals will also appreciate the lifelike design.

Slips Onto Finger

This puppet fits comfortably over a finger to give the user direct control over the snake's head and body movements. No external stage, rods, or strings are required, freeing the other hand for props, books, or additional puppets. The self-contained design makes it practical for spontaneous play in classrooms, living rooms, or party settings. Its 19-inch length provides a visible presence without needing a large performance area.

Replaces Basic Hand Puppets

The finger-operated format upgrades from simple hand puppets that limit fine motor expression and require a full hand insertion. The jump is worth it when a teacher or storyteller needs subtle head articulation to convey emotion or specific character actions. It is not suited for buyers who want a full-body costume puppet or a figure that stands independently on a surface.
