Engaging Sphynx Cat Hand Puppet

This Folkmanis hand puppet brings a hairless feline to life with realistic detailing and interactive movement. Designed for stage, classroom, or home use, it supports storytelling, role-playing, and imaginative play across a wide age range. The high-quality plush construction ensures durability for repeated handling and performance.

Suited for educators, performers, and collectors

Ideal for teachers, puppeteers, and families seeking a characterful prop for interactive sessions or display. Not suited for buyers who need a machine-washable toy, as care instructions specify surface cleaning only. Those requiring a full-body costume or a puppet with moving limbs beyond the mouth should look elsewhere.

Simple hand-slip operation

The puppet slips comfortably over the hand, allowing immediate control of the mouth and facial expressions without straps or complex mechanisms. No assembly is required, and the lightweight design reduces fatigue during extended use. The main limitation is the single-handed operation, which restricts simultaneous manipulation of additional accessories.

Questions about this item

What hand size does the 22 x 7 x 11 inch puppet fit?

The puppet slips over the hand comfortably; the 22 x 7 x 11 inch dimensions describe the overall length, width and height of the Sphynx cat body.

Can this hand puppet share a stage with older Folkmanis puppets?

Yes, it works alongside any hand puppet because each is operated by the puppeteer's own hand; no mechanical or electronic connection is required.

How can I check the mouth movement is working correctly after I put it on?

Insert your hand, open and close your fingers — the lower jaw should move up and down smoothly, letting the Sphynx cat "speak" or change expression.
