FoodSaver 11 x 16 Roll

This FoodSaver vacuum-seal roll provides 11 inches by 16 feet of clear, seven-layer plastic film designed for home cooks who portion and freeze meals, vegetables or sous-vide ingredients. The BPA-free material is safe for raw or cooked foods and withstands microwave and sous-vide temperatures. It works with FoodSaver and other leading vacuum-sealer machines. One roll is included in the pack.

Capacity and headroom

The 16-foot length lets you cut custom bags for large cuts of meat, whole fish or batch-cooked portions, while the 11-inch width accommodates bulky items that standard quart bags cannot hold. The seven-layer barrier blocks oxygen to prevent freezer burn and lock in flavour for extended storage. When the roll is exhausted you simply replace it; there is no resealable closure on the roll itself.

Upgrade from pre-cut bags

Switching from fixed-size bags to this roll eliminates waste from oversized pouches and the frustration of forcing odd-shaped food into undersized ones. The jump is worth it if you regularly seal items wider than 8 inches or want to tailor every bag length to the portion. It does not suit users who only seal small, uniform portions and prefer the convenience of ready-made bags.
