2-in-1 Bag Sealer & Cutter

The FoodSaver ODSD is a compact handheld device that both heat-seals and cuts plastic snack bags. It runs on two included AA batteries and requires no preheating before use. A magnetic strip and lanyard let you store it on a fridge or hang it for quick access.

Home kitchens, travel bags and campsites

This sealer suits anyone who wants to reseal chip, cookie or candy bags in seconds and keep contents airtight. It is not for buyers who need vacuum-level extraction for long-term freezer storage or who must seal heavy-duty Mylar or thick laminated pouches.

No-preheat heat-seal operation

Press the top, clamp the bag in the centre and slide to create an instant seal without waiting for a warm-up cycle. The heating element reaches temperature immediately so the tool is ready the moment you pick it up.

Questions about this item

Does the 3-volt battery power make the sealer hot during long sessions?

The unit runs on two AA batteries at 3 volts and needs no preheating, so the heating element activates only while you slide it across the bag.

What must I supply before I can seal my first bag?

Two AA batteries are included in the box, so you can start sealing immediately without buying anything else.

Will the magnetic strip hold the sealer on my older stainless-steel fridge?

Yes, the built-in magnetic strip attaches to any ferromagnetic surface, including most stainless-steel refrigerator doors.
