Space-saving vacuum bags

This set of 10 Small FoodSaver SG-309 bags compresses clothing and bedding to 20 percent of original volume. The clear bags suit home organisation and travel packing alike. An electric pump is included for fast air removal.

Watertight double-zip seal

The hermetic closure blocks moisture and dust from reaching stored items. Electric pump operation reduces the effort needed to evacuate each bag. Contents stay protected during long-term storage or transit.

Compact dimensions for tight spaces

Each bag measures 11 inches in height with a 2.7 inch width when flat. The 0.73 kilogram pack weight adds minimal load to luggage. Buyers needing larger capacity bags will need a different set.

Questions about this item

How do I use the included electric pump to seal the SG-309 bags without damaging the double-zip seal?

Place items inside the bag, close the double-zip seal completely by sliding fingers across both tracks, attach the pump nozzle to the valve, and run the pump until the bag compresses to roughly 20% of its original volume.

When should I replace the SG-309 bags if the double-zip seal stops holding an airtight, waterproof barrier?

Replace a bag when the double-zip tracks no longer align cleanly, the valve leaks after pumping, or the clear material shows tears that let air or moisture back in.

What limits how long the SG-309 bags stay compressed under sustained storage?

The double-zip seal and valve maintain the vacuum; if either develops a slow leak, the bag will gradually re-inflate and lose the 80% space reduction.
