Canon EF to Fujifilm X Mount Adapter

This adapter connects Canon EOS EF and EF-S DSLR lenses to Fujifilm X-Series mirrorless camera bodies. It expands the usable lens selection for Fujifilm shooters who already own Canon glass. The unit is built for a secure, light-tight fit that preserves optical performance across the frame. Photographers needing to adapt lenses from other mounts will require a different solution.

Macro Helicoid and Filter Performance

An integrated macro focusing helicoid extends the flange distance to enable closer focusing distances than the native lens design allows. This provides precise manual control for detailed close-up work such as product or nature photography. Three magnetic drop-in filters (ND4, ND8, ND16) are included to manage exposure without threading glass onto the front element. The magnetic system allows rapid filter changes during sustained shooting sessions.

16 Millimetre Extension for Close Focus

The adapter provides a 16 mm extension tube effect via its helicoid mechanism, which determines the maximum magnification gain achievable with any attached lens. This fixed physical limit defines the closest working distance and cannot be increased further by the adapter itself. Buyers needing greater macro reproduction ratios will need dedicated macro lenses or additional extension tubes.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter generate any heat or noise when mounted on a Fujifilm X body all day?

The adapter is a passive mechanical mount with no electronics, so it produces no heat and makes no noise during extended use.

What must I already own to use this adapter — specific lens mount and camera body?

You need Canon EOS EF or EF-S D/SLR lenses and a Fujifilm X-Series mirrorless camera body for the adapter to function.

Will my older Canon EF lenses keep their infinity focus and aperture control on this adapter?

The adapter provides a secure mechanical connection for infinity focus; aperture is controlled manually on the lens because there are no electronic contacts.
