Mamiya 645 to Pentax K Adapter

This brass and stainless-steel adapter connects Mamiya 645 lenses to Pentax K mount SLR and DSLR bodies. It preserves the optical quality of medium-format glass while expanding creative options on 35mm and smaller sensors. The leaf-spring mechanism secures the lens firmly for reliable everyday use. Photographers who own legacy Mamiya primes can continue shooting them without buying new lenses.

Infinity Focus and AE Priority Support

The adapter maintains infinity focus so distant subjects remain sharp across the frame. AE priority mode functions normally, allowing the camera to meter and set exposure automatically with the adapted lens. Brass construction resists wear during repeated mounting cycles. Users who need electronic aperture control or autofocus will find those functions unavailable.

Medium-Format Image Circle on Smaller Sensors

Adapting the larger 645 image circle to a 35mm or APS-C sensor uses only the central sweet spot, reducing edge distortion and vignetting. The physical mount depth permits this adaptation without corrective optics. Shooters requiring full-frame 645 coverage or tilt-shift movements cannot achieve them with this flat adapter.
