Fotodiox Pro Vizelex ND Throttle PL to RF Adapter with Variable ND 2-256

Purpose-built adapter

The Fotodiox Pro Vizelex ND Throttle connects Arri PL positive-lock lenses to Canon RF-mount mirrorless bodies. A built-in variable neutral-density filter spans ND2 to ND256, providing one to eight stops of exposure control without swapping filters or lenses. The all-metal construction uses a leaf-spring lock to eliminate play between lens and camera. Professional shooters gain a secure, repeatable mount for cinema glass on modern EOS R-series bodies.

Verify before ordering

Confirm that your lenses use the Arri PL positive-lock mount and that your camera body uses the Canon RF mount. The adapter is designed specifically for that combination; other PL variants or RF-compatible mounts may not engage the locking mechanism correctly. Ensure the lens rear element clears the internal filter assembly, as some wide-angle designs can contact the glass when mounted. No electronic communication is passed through the adapter, so aperture and focus remain fully manual.

Who this suits

Cinematographers and photographers who own Arri PL cinema lenses and want to use them on Canon RF mirrorless cameras with integrated variable ND control. The single-unit design saves matte-box space and speeds up exposure changes on set. Who should look elsewhere: shooters needing electronic lens-data transfer, autofocus support, or a mount for non-PL lens systems. Buyers requiring a fixed ND density or a filter range beyond the stated stops will need a different solution.
