Fractal Design FD-F-AS1-1207 Aspect 12 RGB 120 mm 3-pack case fan

SKU CH-F6B7-WXXR2 MPN FD-F-AS1-1207

Three 120 mm PWM fans deliver 13-56 CFM airflow at 500-2000 RPM with addressable RGB lighting and rifle bearings

  • Number of fans3 Fans
  • Fan controlNo Controller
  • Fan depth25 mm
  • Bearing designRifle
  • Rotational speed500–2,000 RPM
  • Airflow rate13–56 CFM

Model PWM

  • Low turbulence from aerodynamic stator struts
  • Trip Wire micro-turbulent layer boosts blade efficiency
  • Six individually addressable hub-mounted RGB LEDs
  • PWM control across 500-2000 RPM range
  • Rifle bearings more efficient than standard sleeve bearings

Three Fans for Airflow and Lighting

This three-pack of 120 mm case fans suits builders who want coordinated RGB illumination and PWM speed control across multiple mounts. Each unit uses a 4-pin connector and rifle bearing for a 500-2000 RPM range.

Addressable RGB Requires a Compatible Header

The six hub-mounted LEDs per fan need a 5 V addressable RGB header or supported controller to synchronise with ASUS AURA, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Mystic Light or ASRock Polychrome. Without that header the lighting cannot be addressed.

56 CFM Maximum Airflow Decides Cooling Capacity

At 2000 RPM the fans move up to 56 CFM with a noise ceiling of 33.2 dB(A), while the low end delivers 13 CFM below 10 dB(A). Buyers needing higher static pressure or greater peak airflow should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Is the 3-pack the only way to buy these Aspect 12 RGB fans?

The FD-F-AS1-1207 listing ships three 120 mm fans together with 12 mounting screws, so a single pack covers three fan positions.

What does the 56 CFM top airflow figure mean for my build?

At 2000 RPM the fans move up to 56 CFM, delivering strong airflow for radiators or mesh-front cases while staying below 33.2 dB(A).

How does the 4-pin PWM connector work with motherboard RGB sync?

The 4-pin PWM header controls speed from 500 to 2000 RPM, while a separate 3-pin 5 V ARGB lead connects to ASUS AURA, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Mystic Light or ASRock Polychrome headers for lighting sync.
