Frame Size and Purpose

The Framatic Fineline is an 11x17 inch aluminum frame designed to display photographs or artwork of that exact size. Its thin black face creates a minimalist border that keeps attention on the image rather than the frame itself. It suits homes, offices or galleries wanting a clean, modern presentation.

Material and Profile Limits

The frame is built from robust aluminum with an exceptionally thin face profile. This slim design reduces visual weight but also means the rabbet depth is shallow, so it cannot accommodate thick canvas stretchers, shadow-box objects or multiple mats. Glass and backing board are the practical limit for what fits inside.

FRAMLOK Assembly and Common Issues

The patented FRAMLOK joining system allows tool-free assembly and quick loading of artwork in seconds. Corners lock together by hand, but misalignment during the first attempt can leave a visible gap at the mitre. Applying even pressure on all four sides while locking usually prevents this problem.
