What this steam cleaner does

The Fred & Friends Dragon's Breath is a microwave steam cleaner made from BPA-free silicone. It uses steam to loosen grease and grime inside the oven, reducing the need for harsh chemicals. The 800W rating indicates the microwave power setting used during the cleaning cycle. It suits anyone who wants a simple, chemical-free way to maintain a clean microwave.

How to use it and common issues

Fill the dragon with 2 ounces each of water and vinegar, then microwave for 5 to 7 minutes. The steam softens baked-on residue so it wipes away easily. Adding lemon juice gives a fresh scent. The silicone body is dishwasher safe for simple maintenance. Overfilling can cause boil-over, and skipping the vinegar reduces the degreasing effect.

What to check before ordering

Verify that your microwave cavity can accommodate an item measuring 4 x 5 x 3.1 inches. Ensure you are comfortable handling hot silicone after the cycle finishes. The process requires both water and white vinegar, so keep those on hand. This cleaner is not suited for ovens without a microwave function or for users who prefer commercial chemical cleaners.
