21 Degree 3-1/4 Inch Framing Nails

These 21 degree plastic collated nails measure .131 inches by 3-1/4 inches and suit framing nailers that accept this specification. They are made of galvanized steel with a ring shank design for holding power. The full round head meets common building code requirements. Each box contains 2000 nails for extended use on job sites.

2000 Count Galvanized Ring Shank Supply

The 2000 nail count covers large framing, subfloor, roof decking, pallet and wood fencing projects without frequent reloads. Galvanized coating resists corrosion for indoor or outdoor exposure. Ring shanks increase withdrawal resistance in dimensional lumber. The quantity runs out on high-volume commercial framing where multiple boxes become necessary.

Plastic Collated 21 Degree Nailer Compatibility

These nails feed in nailers designed for 21 degree plastic collated 3-1/4 inch strips such as Freeman PFR2190, PFR2190NQ and G22183CLW models. The collation strips reduce jamming and keep nails aligned during rapid fire. They require a compatible pneumatic or cordless framing nailer to operate. The plastic collation eliminates wire or paper debris on the work surface.

Questions about this item

Will the 21 degree collation angle work with my older Freeman PFR2190 framing nailer?

Yes, the nails are compatible with most 21 degree plastic collated nailers including the Freeman PFR2190 and PFR2190NQ models.

How can I confirm the ring shank is biting properly after firing a few nails?

The ring shank design increases withdrawal resistance; check that the nail heads sit flush and the wood fibres grip tightly when you try to pull a test nail.

Does the 2000 count box include any fuel cells or batteries for a cordless nailer?

The box contains only the 2000 galvanized ring shank nails; fuel cells or batteries for cordless tools must be purchased separately.
