What Is This Product

The Freewell M2 Magnetic Quick Swap CPL Filter is a 67mm circular polarizer designed to cut glare from metallic surfaces and boost colour saturation and contrast. It uses a magnetic attachment system so you can swap filters in about one second after screwing the supplied blank frame onto the lens. Premium German optics with multi-layer coating make the glass scratch-resistant, waterproof, dustproof and oil-resistant.

Who This Suits

Photographers who shoot outdoors and need fast filter changes while managing reflections on water, glass or metal will benefit from the quick-swap magnetic design. The kit includes a lens cap with holder, cleaning cloth and pouch for organised transport. Buyers who want more filter types in a single purchase or who require a different thread diameter should look at other options.

Check Before Ordering

Confirm your lens has a 67mm front thread before ordering. Ensure you are prepared to leave the magnetic blank frame on the lens for the quick-swap function to work. Verify that the CPL effect matches the creative control you need for your typical shooting conditions.

Questions about this item

Does my lens need a 67mm thread to use this filter?

Yes, the magnetic blank frame screws onto a 67mm front thread so the CPL can snap on and off in about one second.

Will the magnetic frame vignette on a wide-angle lens that already has a protective filter?

The blank frame adds minimal thickness, but stacking it over another filter increases the chance of corner darkening on ultra-wide focal lengths.

How can I verify the polarisation effect is working after I attach the CPL?

Rotate the filter while looking through the viewfinder or screen; reflections on glass or water should darken and colours should deepen at the optimal angle.
