  • Soft cinematic glow lifts highlights for dream-like atmosphere
  • High-quality optical glass maintains clarity with minimal distortion
  • Stacks smoothly for easy operation during shoots

Designed for Freewell Threaded VND/CPL

This 77mm Glow Mist 1/4 filter is custom-made to thread directly onto Freewell Threaded VND/CPL filters. It adds a soft, cinematic glow to highlights for filmmaking, portrait photography, and videography. The optical glass construction maintains clarity with minimal distortion while creating the desired ethereal atmosphere.

Simple Stack Installation

Installation is achieved by threading the filter onto the front of a compatible Freewell Threaded VND/CPL unit. The seamless integration allows for smooth operation during shoots without additional tools. Users must ensure the host filter is a Freewell Threaded VND/CPL model, as the filter is not compatible with other filter systems or standalone lens threads.

Fixed 1/4 Glow Intensity

The filter provides a single, predetermined 1/4 strength glow effect that cannot be adjusted or removed without physically unthreading the accessory. It relies entirely on the host VND/CPL filter for light control and polarization functions. Buyers needing variable glow intensities, stronger diffusion, or compatibility with non-Freewell filter systems cannot meet those needs with this product.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 77mm Glow Mist 1/4 filter is seated correctly on my Threaded Hybrid VND/CPL?

The filter threads directly onto the front of the Freewell Threaded VND/CPL; a snug, flush fit with no vignetting at wide angles confirms proper seating.

What comes in the box and what must I already own to use this filter?

The package contains only the 77mm Glow Mist 1/4 filter; you must already have a Freewell Threaded Hybrid VND/CPL filter to mount it on.

Which strength of Glow Mist should I choose for a subtle cinematic look?

The 1/4 density provides a soft, ethereal glow on highlights suited to filmmaking and portraits; stronger densities would increase the effect.
