Enhanced Lens Protection

The Freewell lens protector shields the camera lenses on your iPhone Pro Filmmaker Case and Genius Rig from dust, scratches and impact damage. It is built for creators who need their optics to stay pristine during daily production work.

Lightweight Magnetic Attachment

A magnetic mounting system allows the protector to snap on and off in seconds without tools or adhesive residue. At 0.23 oz (6.7g) it adds virtually no bulk, so the rig remains balanced and comfortable for extended handheld shooting.

Upgrade From Bare Lens Mounts

This accessory replaces relying on the case’s exposed lens ports, which leave glass vulnerable to grit and knocks. The step up is worthwhile whenever you move between locations quickly and cannot risk a scratched element ruining a shoot.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the magnetic lens protector to my Pro Filmmaker Case without misaligning it?

Snap the protector onto the case's lens mount using the built-in magnets; the polarised fit guides it into the exact position so it cannot sit crooked.

Will the lens protector itself need cleaning or replacement over time?

Wipe the optical surface with a microfibre cloth when dust or fingerprints appear; replace the unit only if the glass cracks or the magnetic ring loses its grip.

At what point does the protector become the limiting factor during long shooting sessions?

The 0.23 oz (6.7 g) glass adds negligible mass, so thermal limits or battery life of the iPhone will be reached long before the protector affects performance.
