Pro Filmmaker Case for iPhone 16 Pro

The Freewell Pro Filmmaker Case is built for iPhone 16 Pro users who want to attach filters and lenses directly to their phone. It turns the handset into a more capable video tool without adding a separate rig. Creators who rely on magnetic accessories will find the MagSafe connection works as expected.

Magnetic filter mount and MagSafe charging

A built-in magnetic ring accepts Freewell Sherpa filters so they snap on and off in seconds. The same ring keeps full MagSafe charging and accessory support active. An enhanced grip surface helps the phone stay secure during handheld shooting sessions.

17mm lens mount for mobile optics

The case includes a dedicated 17mm thread that lets you screw on compatible lenses for wider or tighter perspectives. It replaces the need for a separate cage or adapter when you only need one focal length. Buyers who need multiple filter sizes or a full matte-box setup will want a different solution.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Freewell Pro Filmmaker Case on my iPhone 16 Pro and attach a 17mm lens correctly?

Snap the case onto the iPhone 16 Pro, align the built-in 17mm lens mount over the phone's camera, then twist the lens until it locks; the step people miss is not seating the lens flange fully before twisting.

What maintenance will the magnetic filter mount and grip surface need over time?

Wipe the magnetic ring with a dry microfibre cloth to remove metal dust that weakens filter hold, and clean the textured grip with mild soap and water when it feels slick.

What limit appears first when I shoot video continuously with a Sherpa magnetic filter attached?

The iPhone 16 Pro thermal throttle engages first, reducing frame rates once the chassis hits its internal temperature ceiling.
