Pro Filmmaker Case for iPhone 17 Pro

This MagSafe-compatible case is built specifically for the iPhone 17 Pro and targets mobile filmmakers and photographers who want to attach professional accessories directly to their phone. It combines rugged Kevlar construction with an integrated mounting system for lenses and filters.

17mm lens mount and magnetic filter system

The case features a precision 17mm lens mount and supports Freewell Sherpa Series Magnetic Filters, allowing quick attachment of cinematic glass and filter effects. It handles demanding creative workflows but runs out of headroom when a project requires larger cinema lenses or a dedicated camera rig with follow-focus and matte box support.

Upgrade from basic protective cases

This replaces standard slim or rugged cases that offer only drop protection and no optical expansion. The jump is worth it when you regularly shoot video or stills with external lenses and filters and need a secure, repeatable mount that stays aligned with the iPhone 17 Pro camera system.

Questions about this item

Will the 17mm lens mount still work if I keep my older MagSafe charger?

Yes, the case is MagSafe compatible so your existing MagSafe charger will function normally while the 17mm mount remains available for lenses.

How can I confirm the Sherpa magnetic filters are seated correctly on the case?

The filters snap magnetically into place on the built-in mount; a firm click and flush fit indicate they are properly attached and ready to shoot.

Does the package include any 17mm lenses or Sherpa filters, or must I buy them separately?

Only the case with its integrated 17mm mount and magnetic filter system is included; lenses and Sherpa filters are sold separately.
