Frigidaire Top Mount Ice Maker Kit

The Frigidaire IMKTTM0018 is a top mount ice maker kit designed for compatible refrigerators. It automates the production of ice cubes so you no longer need to fill and empty manual trays. The kit includes all necessary components and step-by-step instructions for installation. It suits households that want a constant supply of ice without daily effort.

Fits Select Top Mount Refrigerators

This kit integrates into select top mount refrigerator models using the factory-provisioned mounting points and wiring. A sensor arm monitors the ice level, starting the cycle when supply runs low and stopping automatically when the storage container is full. The system frees up freezer space previously occupied by trays and removes the chore of manual refilling. Installation follows the included instructions without specialised tools.

For Owners of Compatible Top Mount Fridges

The product is intended for owners of Frigidaire top mount refrigerators that accept the IMKTTM0018 kit. Buyers who need an ice maker for side-by-side, bottom freezer or French door models should look elsewhere. Households without a compatible refrigerator cannot use this kit. Anyone preferring to continue using traditional ice trays will not benefit from the automatic function.

Questions about this item

How full does the ice storage container get before the sensor arm stops the IMKTTM0018 from making more cubes?

The sensor arm automatically stops ice production when the storage container is full and restarts when the ice level drops, so the bin fills completely before the cycle pauses.

Does the IMKTTM0018 require a dedicated water line or electrical circuit to run continuously?

The kit connects to the refrigerator's existing water supply and uses the appliance's standard power connection, so no separate plumbing or electrical circuit is needed.

Which refrigerator models accept the IMKTTM0018 kit without extra parts?

The kit is compatible with select Frigidaire top‑mount refrigerators and includes all hardware and step‑by‑step instructions for direct installation.
