Product identity

The Frogg Toggs Chilly Pad is a rectangular cooling towel made from hyper-evaporative polyvinyl alcohol material. It measures 33 by 13 inches and comes in Varsity Blue with a terry weave construction. The towel is designed for unisex use during outdoor sports, yard work, fitness activities and other hot weather situations. It includes a storage container for transport and reuse.

Setup checks

Before use, verify that you have access to water for activating the towel's cooling properties. The material requires wetting and wringing to begin the evaporative cooling process. Machine washing is recommended for care between uses. The towel weighs approximately .25 pounds when dry and expands when saturated with water. No batteries or power source are needed for operation.

Sustained performance

Once activated, the towel cools up to 30 degrees through evaporation and can absorb up to 8 times its weight in water. The cooling effect lasts as long as the material remains damp and exposed to airflow. The polyvinyl alcohol construction retains water while staying dry to the touch against skin. Re-wetting restores cooling capacity during extended outdoor exposure.
