Twilight Pack Content

Planet Zoo: Twilight Pack is a downloadable content pack for the base simulation game Planet Zoo. It adds five new crepuscular animal species and over 200 scenery pieces themed around twilight habitats. A new career scenario set in Transylvania is also included for players to explore.

Who This Suits

This pack suits existing Planet Zoo owners who want to expand their zoo with raccoons, red foxes, wombats, striped skunks, and Egyptian fruit bats. It is not for players who do not own the base game Planet Zoo, as the pack requires it to function. Buyers seeking a standalone simulation experience should look elsewhere.

Platform Requirements

You need a PC capable of running Planet Zoo and a free Steam account to redeem the supplied activation code. An internet connection is required for the initial Steam activation and download. Check the base game's system requirements to ensure your hardware meets the necessary specifications before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Do I need the base Planet Zoo game installed before this Twilight Pack will activate on Steam?

Yes, the Twilight Pack is downloadable content that requires the original Planet Zoo simulation to run. You must own and have the base game installed on the same Steam account for the five new animals and 200+ scenery pieces to appear.

Will the new career scenario and animals integrate with save files I started before the pack released on 18 October 2022?

The new Transylvania career scenario is a separate mode you can start at any time. The five twilight species and 200+ scenery items become available in the building menus for existing zoos, so you can add racoons, foxes, wombats, skunks and fruit bats to parks you were already managing.

How can I confirm the pack is properly registered after I redeem the Steam code?

Open your Steam library, right-click Planet Zoo and select Properties, then go to the DLC tab. Planet Zoo: Twilight Pack should be listed with a check mark showing Installed. In the main menu the new Transylvania career scenario will appear, and the animal encyclopaedia will show the five twilight species.
