Strategic WW1 Game 1914-1919

The Great War Western Front is a downloadable PC strategy game from Frontier Developments. Developed by Petroglyph Games, it releases on Steam with a 2023 launch date. Players command forces across the Western Front through both real-time tactical battles and turn-based strategic decisions. The game covers the conflict from 1914 to 1919 with detailed trench warfare mechanics.

For Historical Strategy Players

This suits players who want dual-layer command gameplay combining grand strategy with battlefield tactics. The title demands comfort with both turn-based resource management and real-time unit control during assaults. Buyers who prefer pure action shooters or fast-paced multiplayer matches should look elsewhere. The experience centres on thoughtful decision-making over reflex-based play.

Steam Account Required for Activation

A third-party Steam account is mandatory to activate and play the downloadable code. The product delivers via digital download with Steam DRM enforcement. Supported languages include English, French, German, Russian, and Spanish for spoken dialogue. Subtitles and menus extend to Italian, Polish, Simplified Chinese, and Turkish among others.
