FstNiceTed Car Night Vision IP67 Thermal Camera

Product Identity

The FstNiceTed Car Night Vision IP67 Thermal Camera is an automotive safety accessory that mounts on a vehicle to provide infrared vision in darkness and poor weather. It is designed for drivers who want earlier detection of pedestrians, animals or obstacles beyond the reach of standard headlights. The compact 35 by 35 by 60 millimetre housing carries an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

Practical Limits

The sensor outputs a 256 by 192 pixel image at 25 hertz through a 9 millimetre lens with a 20 by 15 degree field of view and an f 1.0 aperture. Detection range reaches 300 metres for general objects while the intelligent algorithm recognises pedestrians beyond 100 metres and triggers audible and visual alerts. Performance degrades only when ambient temperature exceeds the minus 40 to plus 80 degree Celsius operating window.

Deciding Specification

The uncooled microbolometer operates in the 8 to 14 micron long-wave infrared band with 12 micron pixel spacing, delivering lightless imaging that penetrates fog, smoke and haze while remaining immune to oncoming high beams. Automatic shutter correction maintains uniformity and a built-in defrost function keeps the lens clear. If your requirement is a forward-looking thermal sensor that works in total darkness and adverse weather, this specification matches it; buyers who need a visible-light camera or a longer identification range should look elsewhere.
