What it is and who it's for

A four-pack of magnetic nylon mesh filters sized at 92 x 92 millimetres for 90 or 92 millimetre fan mounts. The ultra-fine 80-mesh screen blocks dust and pet hair while maintaining airflow, helping to extend hardware life inside a PC case.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

Builders with steel chassis who want a screw or magnetic fit on 92 millimetre vents will find the included M5 screws and magnetic frames convenient. Those with aluminium cases cannot use the magnetic attachment and must rely on screws alone, while anyone needing filters for different fan diameters will not be served by this kit.

The spec that decides fit

Each filter frame measures 92 by 6 by 92 millimetres with 4.5 millimetre screw holes, so the mount pattern on your case or fan must match those exact dimensions for the filters to sit flush and seal properly.

Questions about this item

What fan size must my case already have for these 92 mm magnetic filters to fit?

The filters are sized for 90 mm or 92 mm fan openings, so your case needs mounting holes spaced for that diameter.

Will the magnetic frame hold on an aluminium panel, or do I need the screws?

Magnets only attract iron or steel; on aluminium you must use the 16 included M5 × 10 mm screws through the 4.5 mm holes.

How can I confirm airflow is not restricted after I install the 80-mesh nylon screens?

Compare CPU or GPU temperatures under the same load before and after fitting the 1.5 mm thick filters; they should stay within a degree or two.
