Wide-format instant camera

The Fujifilm Instax Wide 400 is a new instant film camera in green that uses the brand's largest film format. It produces 2.4 x 3.9 inch images on 3.4 x 4.3 inch sheets and includes 60 sheets in the box. A retractable 95mm f/14 lens and two-range focus zone setting deliver sharp results for spontaneous photographers at events or gatherings.

Upgrade from smaller instant formats

This model replaces cameras limited to smaller print sizes by offering significantly larger, more detailed images. The jump is worth it when you want group shots or landscapes that fill the wider 2.4 x 3.9 inch frame. It is not for buyers who need digital backups, interchangeable lenses or manual exposure control over every parameter.

Simple AA-powered setup

The camera operates on four AA batteries with an automatic power-down after five minutes of inactivity. A 0.37x optical viewfinder with target spot aids composition while the self-timer lever adjusts in two-second increments up to ten seconds. What usually goes wrong is forgetting the close-up lens adapter for near subjects or misjudging the focus zone at short distances.
