Half-Frame Camera Kit

The FUJIFILM X half reimagines half-frame film photography with a vertical 18MP 1-inch sensor producing 3:4 stills and video. A fixed 10.8 mm f/2.8 lens (32mm equivalent) features manual aperture and focus rings. The bundle includes an Instax Mini Link 3 printer, soft case, USB card reader, and Extreme PRO 64GB memory card.

Vertical Format Constraints

The 3:4 aspect ratio suits vertical social content but cannot be changed to standard horizontal ratios. Film Camera Mode locks a single Film Simulation for 36, 54, or 72 shots with no live preview; images appear only after digital development. The fixed focal length and lack of zoom limit framing flexibility for distant subjects.

Simple Setup With Analog Discipline

Insert the supplied 64GB card and charge via USB-C to begin; the optical window viewfinder and Frame Advance Lever require no configuration. The sub-LCD accesses 13 Film Simulations and 26 filters directly. Buyers who want live-view composition, interchangeable lenses, or instant image review will find the deliberate film-style workflow restrictive.

Questions about this item

What roll length should I pick — 36, 54 or 72 shots?

Choose 36 for quick projects, 54 for day trips, or 72 for extended outings; each roll locks you to one Film Simulation until it is digitally developed.

How does the 18 MP 1-inch sensor perform for vertical video?

The vertical 3:4 sensor records 4K and 1080p footage natively upright, so social-ready clips need no cropping or rotation in post.

What does the fixed 10.8 mm f/2.8 lens give me in practice?

It provides a 32 mm equivalent field of view with manual aperture and focus rings, suited to everyday street and documentary framing.
