1-5/8 Inch Oil Drain Basin

The Funnel King 32950 basin collects oil and other chemicals during fluid changes. Its polypropylene body resists common automotive fluids. The square footprint measures 13-1/2 inches on each side with a 4-1/2 inch depth.

Home and light shop use

Suits DIY mechanics and small workshops needing a compact catch pan for routine oil changes. Not intended for high-volume commercial bays that require larger capacity or integrated drain plumbing.

Polypropylene chemical resistance

The basin is moulded from polypropylene for broad compatibility with motor oil, coolant and solvents. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1-5/8 inch capacity basin or a different size?

The 1-5/8 inch capacity is the only size offered for the Funnel King 32950 model, so choose it if that volume matches your typical fluid change amount.

What does the 1-5/8 inch capacity mean when draining oil on the garage floor?

It holds roughly one and five-eighths gallons of used oil or chemicals, letting you complete most passenger-car drain jobs without overflowing the 13-1/2 inch square basin.

Does the polypropylene construction limit the chemicals I can pour into it?

Polypropylene resists most automotive fluids including oil, coolant and solvents, but the Proposition 65 warning notes the material contains a chemical known to California to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
