Six-Outlet Power Strip for Rack and Studio

The Furman Sound strip provides six NEMA 5-15R receptacles fed by a single NEMA 5-15P plug. It suits audio engineers, server-room technicians and home-office users who need reliable mains distribution for multiple devices.

Fifteen-Foot Cord Extends Placement Options

A 15 ft power cord lets the strip reach distant wall outlets or floor-mounted PDUs without daisy-chaining shorter leads. The length reduces cable clutter and allows flexible positioning behind racks, desks or production consoles.

Sturdy Metal Housing Weighs 2.52 lb

The unit weighs 2.52 lb, indicating a substantial steel chassis that resists bending when rack-mounted or placed on a busy floor. NEMA 5-15R sockets accept standard North American plugs, so everyday gear connects without adapters.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 ft cord or the NEMA 5-15P plug need replacement after years of plugging and unplugging?

The 15 ft cord and NEMA 5-15P plug are built for standard indoor use; inspect them periodically for fraying or bent pins and replace the whole strip if damage appears.

What limits continuous loading on the six NEMA 5-15R receptacles?

The strip is rated for a 15 A circuit; sustained loads that approach 15 A across all six outlets will trip the branch breaker first.

Does the 2.52 lb unit generate noticeable heat or noise when all six outlets are used all day?

No internal fan or active components are present, so the strip runs silently and only warms slightly under normal 15 A loads.
