The RS-1 is a low-voltage control panel designed to trigger Furman power sequencers and relays from a wall-mounted location. It mounts in a standard single-gang switch box with at least 1.5" depth and uses a full-size barrier strip for field wiring connections. A locking key switch and "System On" LED provide secure, visible status indication. The maintained contact push-button initiates the start on/off sequence for connected equipment.

Controls Furman sequencers and relays

Compatible devices include the ASD-120 sequenced power distributor, Power Link, Power Port, Remote AC Controller, MiniPort 15 and 20 power relays, and PS-8R, PS-8R II or PS-PRO II power sequencers. The panel also works with the AR-PRO AC line voltage regulator and other equipment that accepts a remote switch contact. It does not supply power itself; it only sends the control signal that starts the connected units in the correct order.

Fits one-gang boxes with barrier-strip wiring

Installation requires a single-gang electrical box at least 1.5" deep and low-voltage cable runs to each controlled device.
