Questions about this item

Does the 185 lb weight limit leave enough margin for an 86" TV?

The mount is rated for 185 lbs and fits TVs up to 86 inches, so most models in that size range fall well within the limit.

Will the powder-coated galvanized steel frame get too hot in direct sun?

The steel frame is powder-coated and galvanised for corrosion resistance; it will warm in sunlight but has no active components that generate heat.

What wall structure do I need for the double-stud mounting?

The mount requires double-stud or solid-wall construction; the wall plate is 28.5 inches wide to span two studs.
