FURUNO 15M power cable for DRS4W

The FURUNO 15M power cable is designed exclusively for the DRS4W radar unit. It provides the necessary electrical link between the radar and the vessel's power supply. This new accessory ensures the radar receives the correct current for operation. It is a direct replacement part from the original manufacturer.

Suitable for owners of the DRS4W radar

This cable suits owners of the DRS4W radar who need a 15 metre power connection. It is not for users with different radar models or those requiring a shorter or longer cable run. Buyers needing data networking cables or alternative voltage connectors should look elsewhere. The product addresses a single, specific power requirement.

Behaviour under sustained load

The cable delivers continuous power to the DRS4W during extended operation on the water. It maintains the electrical connection without interruption while the radar scans. The 15 metre length supports installations where the radar is mounted away from the power source. A California Proposition 65 warning applies to this item.

Questions about this item

What Furuno radar must I already own for the 15M power cable to work?

The cable is built specifically for the Furuno DRS4W radar, so that unit must be on board before installation.

Can the 15M power cable stay connected if I keep an older Furuno display on the same network?

The cable only carries power to the DRS4W; it does not link to legacy displays, so the older unit can remain without electrical conflict.

How do I confirm the 15M power cable is delivering power to the DRS4W after fitting it?

Power the radar and watch for the DRS4W status LED to illuminate, which shows the cable is supplying voltage correctly.
