GPS antenna with 10 metre cable

This GPS antenna provides a 10 metre cable for flexible mounting on a vehicle. It connects to compatible navigation receivers to deliver satellite positioning data. The unit is supplied new and ready for installation.

Suited to installations needing extra cable reach

Installers who require a longer cable run between the antenna and the receiver will benefit from the 10 metre length. Buyers needing a shorter cable or a different connector type should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How is the 10 meter cable routed during installation and what is the common mistake?

Run the cable away from high-current wiring and VHF antennas to avoid interference; the frequent error is coiling excess length near the chartplotter which degrades signal quality.

What maintenance will the GPA017 antenna need over time?

Inspect the radome for cracks and the cable jacket for UV damage each season; clean connectors with fresh water and replace the unit if corrosion appears on the N-type plug.
