James Webb Orion Bar Mouse Pad

The James Webb Orion Bar mouse pad is a desk accessory for space enthusiasts who want a colourful cosmic image under their mouse. It suits home or office users looking for a smooth, low-friction surface with a vibrant astronomical print.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive fabric and rubber mat the pad generates no heat, makes no sound and draws no power during normal use. The sublimated print resists fading while the black rubber base keeps the surface firmly planted on the desk.

Upgrade path and value

This pad replaces a worn or plain mouse mat and upgrades the desk aesthetic with a detailed NIRCam view of the Orion Bar region. The jump is worth it when you want a durable 7.75 by 9.25 inch surface that stays vibrant without curling or sliding.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 7.75 by 9.25 inch mouse pad and what step do people get wrong?

Lay the black rubber base flat on a clean desk so the sublimated Orion Bar print faces up; the step users miss is wiping dust off the surface first, otherwise the pad slides.

What maintenance or replacement will the mouse pad need later?

The sublimated print resists fading, so only occasional cleaning with a damp cloth is required; replace the pad if the rubber base loses grip or the edges curl.

What limit shows up first under sustained use?

The 1/8 inch rubber base can compress over long gaming sessions, reducing the cushioning feel before the printed surface wears.
