NASA Apollo 8 Earthrise Mouse Pad

The Future of Flight mouse pad displays the Apollo 8 Earthrise mission logo in a bright, sublimated print. It measures 7.75 by 9.25 inches and suits any desktop needing a compact, themed surface. A black rubber base prevents movement during use. The mouse itself is not included.

Sustained desk use

The 1/8 inch thickness gives a stable, comfortable layer that does not compress under daily mouse travel. Sublimated ink resists fading so colours stay vivid after months of continuous sliding. Rubber backing maintains grip on smooth desks without curling at the edges. Surface texture remains consistent for optical and laser sensors alike.

Build and daily handling

A single-piece rubber base bonds to the printed cloth top, eliminating delamination risk. Printed in the USA, the pad arrives flat and ready to use with no break-in period. The compact footprint fits beside a keyboard on small desks while still covering the essential tracking area. No stitching or extra layers are present to catch or wear.

Questions about this item

Does the rubber base of this 7.75 by 9.25 inch mouse pad stay cool and quiet during all-day use?

The pad has no electronics, fans or moving parts, so it generates no heat and makes no noise regardless of how long you use it.

What must I already own for this NASA Apollo 8 Earthrise mouse pad to function?

You need a mouse — optical or laser — and a flat desk area at least 7.75 by 9.25 inches; the pad itself requires no drivers, power or software.

Will the 1/4 inch thickness and rubber base work well on a slightly uneven vintage desk?

The quarter-inch rubber layer conforms to minor surface irregularities and keeps the pad from sliding, giving a stable tracking surface on older desks.
