Webb Space Telescope mouse pad

This mouse pad displays a bright sublimated image of the Cassiopeia A supernova remnant captured by the Webb Telescope's Mid-Infrared Instrument. It is built for space enthusiasts and anyone who wants a colourful desk surface. The black rubber base keeps the pad stable during daily computing tasks.

Sublimated print and rubber base

The sublimation process locks vibrant colour into the surface so the artwork resists fading with regular use. A sturdy black rubber base prevents sliding on smooth desks and adds a firm feel for mouse tracking. One pad is supplied and no mouse is included.

Quarter-inch thickness at 7.75 by 9.25 inches

At 1/4 inch thick the pad offers a consistent cushion without raising the wrist excessively. The 7.75 by 9.25 inch footprint fits compact workspaces but may feel small for users who prefer broad sweeping mouse movements. Buyers needing a larger tracking area should consider a different size.

Questions about this item

Will the sublimated print on this Cassiopeia A mouse pad fade or wear off with daily mouse movement?

The sublimated printing process dyes the surface fibres, so the Webb Telescope image resists fading and abrasion far better than surface-coated pads; the design stays vibrant through extended daily use.

At 7.75 by 9.25 inches, will the pad feel cramped during long gaming or design sessions?

The compact footprint suits tight desks and low-sensitivity mouse settings, but users who make broad sweeping motions may find the edges restrictive after a few hours.

Does the 1/4-inch thick rubber base insulate the desk from heat during all-day use?

The quarter-inch black rubber layer adds a modest thermal buffer, keeping the mousing surface near room temperature even when the desk underneath warms up from nearby hardware.
